Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to move, stack, count, and distribute materials within the facility.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine safety checks before each shift.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and stocking products correctly.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning and organizing work areas.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification: Must hold a current, operator-level certification for the equipment to be operated.
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum educational requirement.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in inventory management.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work full-time hours.
