Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., Counterbalance, Reach Truck) to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and logging stock movements into the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Organize and stack products securely to prevent damage and ensure efficient retrieval.
- Assist in general warehouse duties including packing, labeling, and maintaining a clean workspace.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and experience using handheld scanners.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
