Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload pallets from incoming and outgoing trucks, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and shelving products correctly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, ensuring aisles are clear and designated zones are maintained.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage before moving them to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We offer training for the Certified forklift operator license (or equivalent) to the right candidates.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for long periods.
- Documentation: Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide a valid ID/SSN.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Attitude: Must possess a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new processes.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand English, including safety labels and instructions.
