Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load & Unload: Perform accurate loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stock counts, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Must possess a valid forklift operator certification or license (CDL Class A/B is a plus).
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and operating machinery.
- Reliability: A track record of punctuality and adherence to safety protocols.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
