Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load & Unload: Load and unload trucks in an organized manner, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts and stock organization to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator License (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Availability: Must be available for overtime, weekends, and holiday shifts as needed.
- Communication: Ability to read and understand safety charts and work instructions.
