Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move inventory.
- Load & Unload: Load and unload freight trucks accurately, ensuring cargo is secured and protected during transit.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate inventory records using scanners.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of debris to ensure smooth operations.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid, unexpired Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- License: Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a climate-controlled environment.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
