Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, order pickers) to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock, checking for damaged goods, and updating warehouse management systems.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and your team members.
- Collaborate with team leads to organize warehouse aisles, palletize orders, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Perform general warehouse duties such as sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage areas as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret labels and barcodes.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
