Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Inventory Accuracy: Assist in the receiving, counting, and stocking of inventory to maintain accurate records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Workspace Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform physical labor.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver's license is required.
- Willingness to Learn: No prior experience is required; we are looking for a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
