Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled operators to manage the movement of inventory within our facility. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically fit, and committed to maintaining a safe workplace.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products safely.
- Inspect machinery and equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Organize and stack materials in a neat, orderly, and secure manner to prevent damage.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies regarding hazardous materials and traffic within the warehouse.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the work area to ensure a sanitary environment.
- Accurately process inventory paperwork and maintain logs as required.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class 1 or Class 3) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
