Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Inspect forklifts for any mechanical issues and perform daily safety checks before operation.
- Organize inventory, maintain warehouse cleanliness, and ensure proper storage of goods.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping processes efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding stock levels and operational needs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and handling cash (if applicable).
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to learn and obtain a forklift certification (training provided).
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
