Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely drive and operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets, materials, and products throughout the warehouse.
- Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Inventory Control: Assist in organizing the warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory counts, and ensuring stock is stored safely.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
- Documentation: Complete daily shift logs, checklists, and inventory reports accurately and on time.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience: No prior forklift experience is required; training will be provided.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Good physical stamina is essential.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and a drug screen.
- License: A valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory for this role.
- Attitude: Must demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
