Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently according to OSHA standards.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and railcars in a timely manner.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure proper maintenance and safe operation before use.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards).
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Verify inventory counts and accurately document load data.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- No prior forklift operation experience required.
- Ability to obtain a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification through our training program.
- Must be willing to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety consciousness.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) consistently.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
