Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is managed accurately and efficiently during our peak weekend periods.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (including sit-down and stand-up models) to move, locate, and stack merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently to ensure timely shipping and receiving.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all warehouse safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to scan and track inventory movements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- License: A valid Driver's License is preferred but not required for the operator role.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn and a commitment to workplace safety.
