Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to load/unload shipments efficiently
- Maintain inventory accuracy using scanning systems and warehouse management software
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Document material movements and maintain organized warehouse conditions
- Assist in cross-training initiatives for operational flexibility
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
- Support month-end inventory audits with precision and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA/ITP preferred)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong commitment to workplace safety standards
- Basic computer literacy and inventory system familiarity
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
