Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Inspect forklift equipment for any mechanical issues or safety hazards before and after each shift.
- Verify and maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and locating products.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of clutter to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver's license is required.
- Skills: Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
