Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials and products.
- Load & Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks and shipments, ensuring accuracy and speed while maintaining safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in counting stock, verifying quantities, and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure proper packaging before storage or shipping.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs, safety checks, and other required paperwork.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- License: Valid Driver’s License (Class B or C) is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory and documentation.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work rotating shifts or overtime as needed.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
