Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations. You will be responsible for moving materials efficiently, ensuring safety standards are met, and maintaining a high level of productivity in our warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets and heavy loads.
- Load and unload trucks accurately to maintain inventory flow.
- Inspect forklift equipment for any mechanical issues before and after use.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines strictly.
- Keep the warehouse area organized and clean to prevent accidents.
- Perform inventory counts and stock checks as required by management.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and balance.
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions (warehouses can be hot or cold).
- Willingness to learn and operate different types of warehouse machinery.
