Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using WMS software
- Process inbound/outbound shipments with barcode scanning and documentation
- Generate and analyze inventory reports for management review
- Maintain FIFO rotation protocols and storage optimization
- Collaborate with purchasing to prevent stockouts/overstock situations
- Audit warehouse processes to improve operational efficiency
- Train staff on inventory control procedures and best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years inventory control experience in warehouse/distribution setting
- Proficient with WMS systems and barcode scanning technology
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Strong attention to detail with error prevention focus
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with SAP or Oracle inventory modules a plus
