Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials, products, and supplies using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify and count incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accuracy in all inventory records.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections on material handling equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and logs accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Lifting Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Equipment: Forklift certification (if applicable to the role) or willingness to be trained.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work a rotating shift schedule if required.
- Communication: Basic computer literacy and ability to communicate effectively with team members.
