Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack products from shelves or bins based on customer orders and purchase orders.
- Inspect merchandise for defects or damage and report any issues to the shift supervisor.
- Properly label, wrap, and package items to ensure safe delivery.
- Stack and organize merchandise on pallets or shelves efficiently to maximize space.
- Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory in real-time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods (up to 10 hours per day).
- Physical strength to lift and carry items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for verifying quantities and calculating weights.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is a plus but not required.
