Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our daily operations. You will ensure that our warehouse runs smoothly by moving materials, checking inventory, and maintaining a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility and loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Organize and stock inventory to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding heavy machinery usage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and logging inventory.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
