Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely throughout the warehouse.
- Utilize pallet jacks and RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory levels and stock organization.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and ensure all stock is properly labeled and accessible.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily for safety issues and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies regarding heavy machinery and material handling.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and ticketing.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work varying part-time shifts.
