Job Summary
As a Picker Packer, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for selecting, verifying, and packing products for shipment to our customers. This is a fast-paced environment where accuracy and speed are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Select and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on pick tickets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, tape, bubble wrap) to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy by checking quantities, item descriptions, and barcodes against customer orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including floors, shelving, and packing stations.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to update inventory in real-time.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is a plus but not required (we provide training).
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills and comfort using handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and a positive work attitude.
- Ability to work in various temperatures (climate-controlled warehouse).
