Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across air, ocean, and ground transport modes
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, invoices) ensuring compliance with regulations
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Resolve transportation delays and collaborate with carriers for optimal routing
- Oversee warehouse receiving, inventory management, and outbound freight consolidation
- Build/maintain relationships with carriers, customs brokers, and internal departments
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or freight logistics
- Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active, Descartes)
- Deep knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex shipping data
- Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field required
