Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates to achieve performance targets
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient transportation scheduling and dock management
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization and productivity
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with 1+ years in a supervisory role
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Ability to analyze KPIs and drive process improvements
- Excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
- Basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in supply chain/logistics preferred
