Job Overview
As a Weekend Picker Packer, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for accurately retrieving and preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick items from warehouse shelves using handheld scanners and RF guns.
- Accurately pack and label products according to customer specifications and shipping guidelines.
- Operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or order pickers (training provided).
- Inspect goods for damage and ensure proper packaging to prevent loss during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely processing of weekend orders.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8-10 hours per shift).
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn warehouse management software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
