Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all packaging meets quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus; however, we provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Must be able to work in various temperature conditions.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a focus on accuracy and meeting production deadlines.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
