Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, check incoming shipments for accuracy, and maintain organized stockrooms.
- Packing & Shipping: Properly pack, label, and prepare items for shipment according to customer specifications and safety standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, and conveyors in a safe manner, following all OSHA guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage or defects before processing and report any issues to supervisors immediately.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other associates to meet daily productivity and safety goals.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus; however, we provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- License: Valid driver's license is required; forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging data; strong attention to detail.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Attitude: Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.
