Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently process customer orders by picking items from the warehouse floor and preparing them for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning products and ensuring stock levels are correct.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move heavy loads within the warehouse (certification preferred or provided).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets quality standards before dispatch.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance on warehouse equipment and workstations.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift in varying temperature conditions.
- Reliability: A strong work history with a focus on punctuality and attendance.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic warehouse software.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with shift supervisors and fellow team members.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for warehouse access.
- Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented to ensure order accuracy.
