Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and stage merchandise for shipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and organizing stock in the warehouse efficiently.
- Picking & Packing: Fulfill customer orders accurately by picking items from the warehouse floor and preparing them for shipping.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and reach trucks, while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets quality standards before dispatch.
- Reporting: Assist in documenting daily workflow and reporting any equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills and ability to read labels and barcodes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
