Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Efficiently and safely load and unload merchandise from trucks and trailers using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Sort, organize, and stock inventory on shelves and in storage areas accurately.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipping using appropriate packing materials and machinery.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, adhering to OSHA standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic warehouse equipment; forklift certification provided for interested candidates.
- Quality Control: Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure accuracy.
- Team Collaboration: Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and general warehouse upkeep as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred but not strictly required).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Basic math skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Background: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Attitude: A positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes quickly.
