Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity targets are met and exceeded.
- Manage inventory levels, coordinate stock control procedures, and oversee incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a secure working environment for all staff.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Coordinate with logistics managers to optimize shipping schedules and resolve any logistical bottlenecks.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and ensure all machinery is maintained and in safe working condition.
- Prepare performance reports and handle employee relations issues with professionalism and fairness.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification is mandatory.
- Proven track record of leadership and the ability to manage a team effectively under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
