Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items from the warehouse floor and prepare them for shipping with precision.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and safe by adhering to OSHA standards.
- Shipping & Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify contents against packing lists.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Strong work history with a proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation is required to commute to the Newark facility.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read and understand packing slips and perform basic inventory counts.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends or overtime as needed.
