Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks and containers using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring stock levels are correct.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment efficiently and accurately.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery in compliance with safety protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety guidelines and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a drug screen (background check not required for immediate placement).
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
