Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Load and unload trucks safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Inspect products for defects and report damaged goods to the inventory supervisor immediately.
- Operate standard warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) to move materials within the facility.
- Verify accuracy of invoices and packing slips to minimize shipping errors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (loading docks/warehouses).
- Reliable transportation to and from the El Paso, GA facility.
