Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport freight safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment (dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts).
- Scan barcodes and process orders accurately to ensure inventory integrity.
- Organize stock in designated areas to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse.
- Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to track stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred but not required for entry-level).
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Reliable transportation and a consistent work history.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license (not required for warehouse duties but helpful).
