Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload freight from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Packing & Shipping: Accurately pack products into boxes and prepare them for shipping to ensure damage-free delivery.
- Inventory Management: Assist in scanning, counting, and organizing inventory to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Material Handling: Move materials within the warehouse to designated storage areas using proper equipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets quality standards.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to maintain a consistent attendance record.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on tasks and ensure accuracy in counting and packaging.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory and shipping tasks.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
