Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move products throughout the facility.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise while maintaining accurate inventory records using RF scanners.
- Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by picking items from the warehouse floor and preparing them for shipment with strict attention to detail.
- Quality Assurance: Perform routine quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before being dispatched.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation procedures.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in all areas of the warehouse.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- License: Valid forklift certification (Class 1 or Class 3) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as business needs dictate.
