Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and inventory checks using handheld scanners, maintaining accurate stock records.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality, reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Organization: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform heavy physical labor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when managing inventory and shipping orders.
- Documentation: Ability to read and understand safety labels, operating procedures, and shipping manifests.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as business demands require.
