Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Locate and retrieve items as requested, utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Perform daily inventory counts and maintain accurate stock rotation (FIFO).
- Package and label products for shipment, ensuring proper handling of fragile items.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure optimal workflow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid forklift certification (if applicable to the specific role).
- Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet physical demands.
