Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inspection: Accurately receive inbound shipments, verify quantities, and inspect for damage before logging into the inventory system.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently locate items using RF scanners and pickers, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and secure packaging for shipment.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and identify discrepancies.
- Shipping & Loading: Prepare pallets for outbound delivery, label shipments, and load trucks efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe by following 5S principles and reporting hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in a warehouse environment.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
- Skills: Basic math skills and ability to read and understand safety labels and pick lists.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
- Certification: Forklift certification (OSHA) is a plus but not mandatory for all roles.
