Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move freight, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently to designated storage areas.
- Inventory Management: Verify and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanners.
- Packaging & Shipping: Properly package and prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring all labels and documentation are accurate.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as required.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damages and ensure they meet quality standards before shipping.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Basic computer skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members.
