Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock levels are correct.
- Material Handling: Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and efficiently to move stock within the facility.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or discrepancies before processing.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and clutter-free to ensure operational efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow associates to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform physical labor in a climate-controlled environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy in data entry and inventory counts.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (Class C) preferred for warehouse transport roles.
- Forklift Certification: Possession of a current forklift certification is a significant plus.
