Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring all packaging is secure and labeled correctly.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts, stock organization, and maintaining accurate inventory records using WMS systems.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Load/Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks, verifying manifests against physical goods.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for motivated candidates.
- Certification: Current forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is a plus; otherwise, willing to obtain certification upon hire.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and processing orders.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, able to work overtime as needed, and pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
