Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Pack, label, and prepare items for shipment using various packaging materials.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct daily cycle counts and assist in annual inventory audits.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be willing to work in various weather conditions (loading docks) and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
