Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload inbound and outbound shipments using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Control: Accurately pick, pack, and scan products to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Operate handheld scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts (certification provided upon hire).
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by adhering to all safety protocols.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect goods for damage and ensure proper packaging standards are met before shipping.
- Team Coordination: Communicate effectively with team leads and other departments to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: No prior warehouse experience necessary; we value attitude and reliability over experience.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work a consistent schedule.
- Communication: Basic reading and comprehension skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
