Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from delivery trucks safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment.
- Verify and inspect incoming stock for accuracy, damages, and discrepancies.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with precision.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock organization.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for scanning, labeling, and inventory purposes.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (dock doors/warehouse).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Detroit facility.
