Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise to ensure accuracy and organization.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials within the facility as required.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to streamline workflow and meet daily quotas.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions (temperature controlled warehouse).
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use warehouse technology (RF scanners) is highly desirable.
