Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Packing and Shipping: Accurately pack, label, and prepare merchandise for shipment to ensure timely delivery.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving stock, performing cycle counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Organization: Keep warehouse aisles clear, organize stock according to location systems, and maintain a clean work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders quickly and accurately to meet service level agreements.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report issues to management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and safety.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- License: Forklift certification is a plus but not required (training provided).
