Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to and from delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against packing slips, and inspect for damage before processing.
- Pick and pack customer orders with high accuracy to minimize returns and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Operate computerized inventory systems and barcode scanners to track stock movements.
- Assist in the maintenance of warehouse equipment and report any safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one through our training program).
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
